Additive manufacturing process involves adding material in layer-by-layer processing to obtain the final net shape. Some materials may not be available for immediate use in the Maker Hub, so it is best to buy your own material for your projects beforehand.
FDM Printers
FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) is a 3D printing process that uses continuous filament of a thermoplastic material that is extruded to make 3D models.
The Prusa i3 MK3S 3D printer is also a fused deposition modeling (FDM) printer. Use this printer for medium sized prints, prints that don't require high resolution, or prints where time is a factor.
