Create. Collaborate. Innovate.
Welcome to the AFRL Maker Hub at the Wright Brothers Institute! The Maker Hub is AFRL's maker space that leverages WBI's connectivity and innovation resources. Whether you want to explore new applications or product ideas, learn a new skill in a hands-on way, or create a tangible design to demonstrate your research, the Maker Hub is the place for you.
Who Has Access?
The AFRL Maker Hub is open to all government civilian and on-site contractors at no cost. Members of the Dayton community, including startups, entrepreneurs, academics and others may apply for a paid AFRL Maker Hub membership through the Wright Brothers Institute.
Dayton-area community members also have the ability to use the AFRL Maker Hub's capabilities at a small cost. If you are interested in bringing your team in to use our equipment and resources, we ask that you fill out the following form and we will respond as quickly as possible.
AFRL personnel have the ability to spend a portion of their work week paid at the Maker Hub. You can use this time to work on a project, develop an idea, or learn something new! Contractors can also use the Maker Hub, so long as it is within the scope of their contract.
We only ask that you please fill out the following worksheet. If you will be coming in during your personal time, you do not need your supervisor to sign off.
